All ponds, small lakes and water gardens are different shapes and sizes. It may be necessary to purchase additional fountain cable to go direct to the electrical source. There are maximum cable lengths per gauge wire. Determine the total number feet of cable your fountain requires. Our fountain products include 50 feet of #14 gauge cable. If you need more than 175 feet for your outdoor fountain product please contact our friendly customer service team for assistance.
The table below will help you determine the maximum cable lengths for the different electrical gauge cable. If you do not follow this chart, your outdoor water fountains will probably decrease in performance.
