FOUNTAIN ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
1/2 HP OUTDOOR FLOATING FOUNTAIN
 WARNING
This unit is pre-wired and is provided with GFCI for your safety and the safety of the equipment in the event of an electrical short, ground or equipment failure. DO NOT REMOVE OR MODIFY ANY ELECTRICAL COMPONENT. THIS COULD RESULT IN THE DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION TO ANYONE, HUMAN OR ANIMAL IN CONTACT WITH THE WATER IF AN ELECTRICAL SHORT DID OCCUR.
Electrical cable must extend completely onto shore to power source without breaks or splices. Underwater splices are dangerous and will void the warranty.
GROUNDING
Permanently ground this unit in accordance with the National Electric Code and local codes or ordinances. Use a copper conductor of the correct size from the grounding terminal in the control box to a grounded connection in the service panel or a properly driven and electrically grounded ground rod.
ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL OPTION FOR FOUNTAIN AND LIGHTS - OPTIONAL
Your control panel will be assembled with a timer option for the fountain and lights. Follow the instructions below for the timer.
TIMER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
    • Turn orange trippers till time of day is in line with timer marker.
    • To set on, pull orange trippers starting at the time desired.
    • Stop at the time you want it to turn off.
    • All orange trippers between the on and off settings must be pulled out.
    • Each tripper represents 30 minutes.
    • More than one on-off sequence may be set.
    • To run continuously, pull out all orange trippers.
CAUTION 
DISCONNECT ALL POWER BEFORE SERVICING.
 
NIGHT LIGHT ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Your line voltage 120 Volt lighting system was designed with your safety in mind.
They include the following:
A. GFCI Protection
B. 120 Volt 75 Watt high intensity halogen lamps
C. Pre-wired electrical control panel including timer and terminal blocks
WARNING
YOUR LIGHTING SYSTEM IS PRE-WIRED AND IS PROVIDED WITH A GFCI FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF YOUR EQUIPMENT IN EVENT OF AN ELECTRICAL SHORT, GROUND OR EQUIPMENT FAILURE. DO NOT REMOVE OR MODIFY, TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN THE DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION TO ANYONE, HUMAN OR ANIMAL, IN CONTACT WITH THE WATER IF AN ELECTRICAL SHORT SHOULD OCCUR.
YOUR LIGHTING SYSTEM IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN SWIMMING POOLS AND SPAS.

NOTE: Excessive build up on the lens may cause lens to crack, lamps to burn out and gaskets to fail. To maintain maximum light output and long lamp life cleaning of the lens may become necessary.
CAUTION
DO NOT BURN THE FIXTURES OUT OF THE WATER EXCEPT TO TEST THE LAMPS. LIGHT LENS HAS TO BE COVERED COMPLETELY WITH WATER TO PREVENT LENS FAILURE.
